Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 per annum (depending on experience)
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring young people and delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
* Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
* Plan, prepare, and assess coursework and examinations in line with the national curriculum.
* Support students of varying abilities, ensuring all pupils are motivated and challenged.
* Collaborate with the department and wider school staff to maintain high academic standards.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Science.
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (placements considered for ECTs).
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
