Are you an experienced administrator with an organised and proactive approach to tasks? We have a brand-new opportunity at Lifeworks Charity for a Support Services Administrator to join our team.
This role will be integral to supporting the Operations Manager in delivering essential operational support to the charity. You will be a central point of contact, working alongside your manager and liaising with managers to ensure compliance with health and safety, GDPR, governance, and IT within all services is maintained.
This role is suited to someone seeking a varied administrative position, working closely with all services to ensure the correct support is delivered.

What you'll do:
* Provide general administration support, including being a central contact point, scanning, filing, and record keeping.
* Assist the Operations Manager with health and safety management, guidance, compliance, audits, reviews, and record maintenance.
* Act as a first point of contact for IT issues, liaising with contractors or external support teams.
* Support governance activities, such as preparing for regulatory visits, managing documentation, and ensuring GDPR-compliant filing and archiving.
This role involves working 37.5 hours per week during weekdays, across 52 weeks. It is based at both our College/Central Support Office in Dartington and our residential home in Torquay, requiring travel between sites.

Candidate profile:
* Experienced in providing administrative support, ideally across multiple sites.
* Qualified to Level 3 Diploma or similar in Business Administration.
* Proficient with IT and Microsoft Office.
* A team player, flexible, and able to work independently.
* Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Organised and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
* Willing to travel to Torquay as needed.
* Knowledge of CQC and learning disabilities is advantageous.
