Overview
The Newark Family Support and Safeguarding team are looking for an experienced social worker to join the team for a 12 month temporary contract as an Advanced Practitioner.
The team is based at Thoresby House, SEV, and is made up of Social workers, Early Help Case Managers, Family Support workers, Woman's Aid worker and CGL (Drugs and alcohol). You will be working alongside another AP and the Team Managers to support the team, improve practice and outcomes for families. You will have allocations of your own and work as a co-worker with others as a support. You will also provide supervision to some team members such as the Family Support workers.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Experienced social worker.
* Appointment subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
* This post is available as a secondment opportunity to existing Nottinghamshire County Council employees with line manager approval.
