Key Account Manager (covering Liverpool and surrounding areas)
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field‑based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely.
Here at RS, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join our successful, innovative sales team.
Responsibilities
* Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio.
* Producing robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
* Building a detailed understanding of the customers, markets, and competitors.
* Maintain and upkeep accurate customer records.
* Building coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets including with the internal account managers.
Qualifications
* Experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targets.
* You are open-minded, possessing the ability and willingness to embrace change.
* Someone who takes a solution-led approach to their work.
* You possess a proven ability in strategic thinking and planning.
* You are an excellent relationship builder.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Any Salesforce CRM or B2B experience would be a bonus!
* And of course – a driving licence is essential!
