Vice Chancellor’s University Fellow – Artificial Intelligence Public Policy
Salford Business School is looking for a VC’s university fellow specialising in the implications and understanding of Artificial Intelligence. We are particularly concerned with what AI means; what it means for policy makers, our economy and citizens. Reporting to Richard Whittle, Professor of AI and Public Policy, this University Fellow role will conduct research examining the implications of AI on the GM economy and wider. This is an exciting time to join the University, as we continue to grow and leverage our collaborative expertise to enrich the lives of our students and the capacity of our scholarly community.
Key responsibilities
* Produce leading research in the implications of AI contributing to debates around the future of work, AI harms and economic data science.
* Support research-led teaching, particularly executive education and research supervision.
* Support relevant funding applications and commercial AI activities.
