Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Supervisor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Electrical Supervisor, will be responsible for:
* Lead and manage all LV/HV electrical systems, including planned and reactive maintenance activities.
* Oversee the Fixed Wire Testing programme and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.
* Serve as the site's HV Authorised Person.
* Perform, review, and manage electrical safety checks, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities.
* Provide detailed technical guidance to the engineering team and support their development.
* Ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained, including permit-to-work processes.
* Manage specialist electrical contractors and ensure high-quality delivery of all works.
* Coordinate maintenance outage windows and liaise closely with the client on scheduling and operational impacts.
* Support and oversee small works and project activities across the plant.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety legislation, building statutory requirements, and company policies.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all planned and reactive activities.
To be successful for this Electrical Supervisor role you must have:
* Fully qualified electrician with:
* City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent).
* 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
* Demonstrable experience working with Low Voltage and High Voltage electrical systems.
* High Voltage qualification and/or status as an HV Authorised Person
* Proven experience supervising or managing engineering teams or contracted service providers.
* Strong background in maintenance, testing, and fault-finding across a wide range of electrical equipment.
