This is a maternity leave cover and provides an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career into leadership roles. We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Divisional Service Lead for Hand therapy including MSK and plastic outpatients, rheumatology, pain outpatients and inpatient services; Orthopaedics, Surgery, cancer and critical care.
Applicants should be working at MSc level and have highly developed clinical skills. You must be experienced in working with patients with highly complex needs, applying evidence‑based therapy, and possess skills in staff development and leadership, recruitment and retention, service evaluation and improvement. Commitment to progressing patient services is essential, as you will be responsible for the delivery of excellent care by the Occupational Therapy department.
This post requires relevant weekend working.
You will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with highly developed clinical skills. You will work closely with all Occupational Therapy staff within the Occupational Therapy department at Addenbrooke’s Hospital to ensure delivery of high‑quality patient care that meets patients’ needs and expectations.
You will, in liaison with the Professional Lead, coordinate the day‑to‑day running of the service, including recruitment and retention, staff management and development, and service delivery and development.
