Python Full Stack Developer – Alderley, 1-2 days a week On-Site, Permanent Up to £55,000
Our client, an innovative SaaS provider in the scientific and workflow automation space, is looking for a skilled mid-level Full Stack Developer to join their growing engineering team.
Their platform is used globally to streamline complex processes, helping customers deliver outcomes faster and with greater efficiency. A chance to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where your code will have a direct impact on real-world projects, from building scalable backend systems in Python/Django to crafting engaging user interfaces in React.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to both back-end and front-end development with a strong focus on Python/Django and React.
* Build and optimise customer-specific business rules, scheduled tasks, and workflow integrations.
* Develop scalable APIs and integrate them seamlessly with user-facing components.
* Work closely with scientists, engineers, and product specialists to translate requirements into innovative solutions.
* Participate in the full lifecycle of development – ideation, prototyping, deployment, and iteration.
* Enhance performance, observability, and usability across applications.
* Engage in code reviews and collaborative problem-solving to ensure high-quality delivery.
Qualifications
* 2+ years in a full stack development role, with solid back-end experience in Python with Django.
* Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
* Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and version control (Git).
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
* Bonus: Interest in AI-assisted development tools.
