Job Description
This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, using Looker and SQL to deliver reliable, insightful analytics for stakeholders across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain data models and dashboards in Looker to provide clear, actionable insights.
* Develop, optimise, and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support reporting, analytics, and data transformation.
* Implement and support data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
* Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into robust data products.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and access within Looker and GCP environments.
* Document data models, dashboards, and processes to ensure clarity, maintainability, and knowledge sharing.
Essential Skills
* Strong hands-on experience with Looker, including building and maintaining dashboards and data models.
* Proficient SQL skills, with the ability to write, optimise, and debug complex queries.
* Practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform for data and analytics use cases.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and reliability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
