Pay & Package
* Hours: 42 hours per week (full-time)
* Location: NE23 1WG
* Annual Leave: Minimum 20 days plus bank holidays
Hourly Pay Rates
Emergency Care Assistant (PAYE) – Days £15.75 per hour
Emergency Care Assistant (PAYE) – Nights (Monday–Thursday) £16.40 per hour
Emergency Care Assistant (PAYE) – Nights (Friday–Sunday) £17.25 per hour
Shift Patterns
* 5 on / 4 off
* 4 on / 5 off
(24/7 rota including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays)
Safer Recruitment Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
* Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 4) or Level 3 Diploma in Ambulance Emergency and Urgent Care Support
* Previous patient-facing or frontline experience
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Calm, compassionate, and professional approach
* Ability to successfully complete all safer recruitment checks including:
* Enhanced DBS check
* Occupational Health clearance
* Right to Work checks
* Driving licence checks
* Employment reference checks
