Maths Teacher (QTS) - September Start - Southampton

The Role:
Depending on the school, responsibilities may include:
* Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 in some settings)
* Planning and delivering engaging, structured Maths lessons
* Marking, assessment, and tracking pupil progress
* Supporting pupils of mixed abilities to achieve strong outcomes
* Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and engagement
* Contributing positively to the Maths department and wider school community

* Qualified Maths Teachers with QTS/QTLS (essential)
* ECTs seeking the right school for their first permanent role
* Experienced teachers looking for progression, stability, or a fresh environment
* Teachers relocating to or within the Southampton area
* Maths specialists confident teaching GCSE (any exam board)

Contract Details:
* Position: Maths Teacher (QTS)
* Location: Southampton
* Start Date: September (new academic year)
* Contract Type: Full-time, long-term or permanent
* Salary:£32,916 - £51,047 per annum (M1-U3)
Experience, Training & Safeguarding:
* QTS/QTLS required
* Experience teaching secondary Maths
* Safeguarding training required (can be provided)
Eligibility:
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
* Two recent teaching references
