Description Are you looking to ensure transportation infrastructure improvements and new roads at developments in East Sussex are built appropriately? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to work in the role of Senior Technician within the Implementation section of the Transport Development Planning team. In this integral role, you will liaise with Developers and Contractors to inspect highway works, agree solutions to issues arising during construction and secure minor highway works by licence. You will maintain oversight for the County Council verifying that schemes are being built to the agreed design and correct standards to ensure a safe effective transportation network. We are looking for candidates who have: experience of working within the road construction/maintenance sector the skills to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment an ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and partner organisations This position provides a real opportunity to influence development and change in East Sussex.
