The Compliance Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing the compliance program in the UK, focusing on the UK Bribery Act and U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). They'll serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Management Team, working closely with the International Compliance Team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day compliance support to ensure UK operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
* Manage the International Compliance Program's activities for DaVita UK, based on global strategies and priorities.
* Collaborate with the International Compliance Team to create presentations and drive initiatives.
* Support anti-bribery and corruption compliance for M&A activities and business expansion.
* Identify and evaluate business and compliance risks, implementing processes to mitigate these risks.
* Maintain awareness of the compliance landscape in the UK, including government policies and regulations.
* Increase compliance awareness among the UK Executive Team and wider teammates.
* Establish effective relationships with other departments, identifying and addressing compliance issues.
* Manage third-party vendor due diligence in the UK.
* Conduct internal compliance investigations and remediation activities.
Requirements:
* 4-5 years of hands-on experience in compliance, including anti-corruption and health regulatory compliance.
* Knowledge of the UK regulatory environment.
* Experience managing outside counsel and external consultants.
* Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
