Services Manager – Cancer Care Support
Role Overview
Lead a team of 8 Wellbeing Consultants across 14 cancer care centres in southern and central England. Drive high‑quality, compassionate care, support recruitment, training and continuous improvement of remote teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support and develop a virtual team of Wellbeing Consultants
* Conduct regular site visits, role observations and audits to ensure quality assurance and safe practice
* Assist recruitment, induction and training of new staff and therapists
* Ensure quality assurance and safe practice across the service
* Deputise for the Head of Services when required
Qualifications
* Recent experience supporting people in a clinical setting
* Proven experience of managing remote teams
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Experience in training delivery and evaluation
* A relevant healthcare or professional qualification (e.g. Nurse, counsellor)
