Head of Admissions and Interventions (SENCo)
Location: Anstey Manor School, Alton
Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: c£60 to 65,000 OTE
Anstey Manor School is seeking a highly experienced SENCo to take on the role of Head of Admissions and Interventions and join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a strategic role combining leadership of SEND provision with oversight of admissions and whole-school interventions, ensuring every child receives the support, care, and education they deserve.
As a senior leader, you will influence the school's vision and priorities, lead staff teams, and drive the design and delivery of impactful therapeutic interventions that improve outcomes for pupils with SEMH and ASC needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead SEND provision and interventions in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
* Oversee and manage pupil admissions, assessing EHCPs and liaising with Local Authorities.
* Inspire and develop academic and therapeutic teams, modelling effective leadership.
* Drive whole-school initiatives that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and achievement.
* Contribute to the strategic direction and improvement of the school as part of the SLT.
Person Specification
* QTS and National SENCo Award (or willingness to complete within 2 years).
* Extensive SENCo and senior leadership experience, ideally within a specialist or SEMH setting.
* Strong knowledge of SEMH/ASC needs, SEND Code of Practice, and effective interventions.
* Skilled in leading teams, managing change, and improving outcomes for pupils.
* Passionate about pupil wellbeing, inclusion, and long-term positive outcomes.
