Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join a dynamic and growing team, playing a key role in managing procurement activities and supplier relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, optimise costs, and ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements.
* Manage relationships with key suppliers, including contract manufacturers, distributors, and service providers, ensuring performance and compliance.
* Lead the procurement process from requisition to purchase order, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and finance teams.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service levels to secure favourable terms and mitigate risks.
* Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and ethical standards, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Analyse procurement data, spending patterns, and cost drivers to identify opportunities for savings and process optimisation.
* Contribute to risk management and supply chain resilience through alternative sourcing strategies and contingency planning.
