Annual Salary: Up to £70,000 (DoE)
Role Overview
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and signing off structural designs for a wide range of residential housing developments. You’ll work closely with design teams, clients, and local authorities to ensure compliance with building standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
* Leading structural design for housing projects
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
* Ensuring all work complies with SER protocols and Scottish Building Standards
* Managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
* Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior engineers
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or other relevant subject
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
* Proven experience delivering structural engineering solutions in residential projects
* Strong understanding of Scottish Building Regulations
* Excellent communication and project management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
