Elevation Accounting and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Worksop area as they look to recruit a Commercial Accounts Assistant into their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow the set processes and procedures to validate revenue and costs in a timely manner for a number of key contracts.
2. Conduct weekly and monthly payroll checks for accuracy, including investigations into scheduling hours, pay rates, and charge rates.
3. Liaise with Admin on the setup of new contracts and the maintenance of existing contracts.
4. Record price variations, ensuring systems are up to date at all times.
5. Manage revenue generation for manually billed customers.
6. Review and manage accrued revenue.
7. Oversee Purchase Order Management.
8. Assist with debt collection calls and query resolution.
9. Apply Minimum Financial Standards where appropriate, ensuring relevant balance sheet accounts are well maintained and properly controlled.
10. Manage relationships with Accountants and Admin staff.
11. Produce timely and accurate management reports to support Accountants and Operational Managers.
12. Handle ad hoc analysis requests from the business to support decision-making.
13. Ensure contract controls are in place for accurate contract accounting.
Person Specification:
* Knowledge of accounting principles.
* Ability to work effectively with non-finance operational staff.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Email, and Calendar.
