Personal Tax Manager - Hybrid, Flexible, Reduced Hours, Stoke-on-Trent

The successful appointee to this Personal Tax Assistant Manager position will report to an Associate Director and join an established team of 6 in personal tax and 15 across the department. Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax compliance clients.
2. Identify personal tax planning opportunities and assist in delivering advisory assignments.
3. Play a key role in delivering estate planning services to clients.
4. Train and mentor trainees within the team, developing their professional skills.
5. Build and maintain trusted client relationships.
6. Oversee the financial management of your portfolio.
7. Contribute to the firm's Business Development initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* ACA and/or CTA qualified.
* Experience in personal tax compliance or managing a portfolio that delivers personal tax and estate planning services.
* Strong interpersonal skills to develop exceptional client relationships.
* Proficiency in identifying and delivering tax planning opportunities.
* Solid organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
* Leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in developing junior staff.
* Commercial awareness to contribute to business development.
