Location: WC1H 9JZ
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week – Monday‑Friday, 7am‑3pm, you will be required to support in hospitality so additional hours will be available as overtime, some flexibility is required
Key responsibilities will include:
* To invent and create menus that are in line with client and customer needs
* To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
* To enjoy the food you produce and ensure they are ‘picture perfect’ every time
* You will be responsible for running the cafe and cover between 50-60 covers per day
* To communicate with the relevant parties requirements for planned menus and order necessary ingredient
Ideal Cafe Sous Chef Candidate:
* Drive the café to improve the food and increase our covers during our lunch period
* Is flexible and havea good front of house ability to cover during busy lunch period
* Be highly focused on social sustainability
* Have contract Catering or Cafe background is highly desirable
* Very well organised and good time-management skills
* Have in‑depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene protocols, and sanitation standards
