Aspris Kilmarnock, Scotland, United Kingdom. We are searching for the right person to join and lead our home in Kilmarnock through the next exciting phase of its development. We continue to provide a unique community-based, living and learning environment in support of some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the country. The team assists children and young people aged 8 to 18 years to be fully included within the local community and to ensure they have the capacity to prosper beyond Aspris into the wider post-school world.

We need an inspiring manager who will lead the team and use their experience and innovation to plan activities and create life opportunities for every young person, taking into account each individual’s needs.
This home is part of a large children’s group with a national footprint offering significant development, support and progression opportunities. We also operate a number of high-quality specialist schools across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Lead the residential home and manage the team to deliver high‑quality care and safeguarding for children and young people aged 8 to 18.
* Plan and oversee activities and opportunities that support each young person’s development and independence.
* Collaborate with the wider Aspris group and associated specialist schools to support progression opportunities for all young people.
Qualifications
* Wide range of experience as a childcare practitioner, with prior management of teams within a residential setting.
* SVQ4 qualification.
* Commitment to placing children and young people at the center of all operations.
* Full driving licence.
* Eligibility to Register with SSSC as a manager.
