Care Ltd is seeking compassionate and professional Ambulance Care Assistants (ACA) to join our dynamic
Operations team.
Location: Slough (SL3 6NA) Hours: Full Time, Part Time, 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern Shift Types: Days, Nights, Weekends, and Bank Holidays Salary:
£12.21 per hour during probation
£13.00 per hour post-probation
£14.00 per hour for night shifts
What You'll Do:
Provide safe, respectful, and timely transportation for patients to and from hospitals, care homes, clinics, and private residences.
Support patients with a variety of physical and cognitive needs using specialist equipment like wheelchairs and stretchers.
Deliver first aid and oxygen therapy where needed.
Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and fully stocked.
Maintain accurate patient and journey records.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and patients families.
What Youll Need:
Full UK B category driving licence MANUAL ONLY (held for 12+ months, max 6 penalty points).
Previous experience in a customer or patient-facing role.
Strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.
Respectful, compassionate, and trustworthy approach to patient care.
Flexible and able to work across shift patterns and locations.
Understanding of the Highway Code (tested during recruitment).
