Job Description
Temporary Buyer (Cardiff) – £17–£18 per hour
We’re looking for an experienced Buyer to join our Procurement team on a temporary basis. You’ll support end-to-end purchasing activity, ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and issue RFQs
* Raise and expedite purchase orders
* Manage supplier relationships and resolve supply issues
* Monitor spend, support cost-saving initiatives, and maintain accurate records
* Forecast demand to maintain stock levels
About You
* Strong negotiation, communication and supplier-management skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Experience in industrial, manufacturing or similar environments
* Analytical mindset and good financial awareness
