We’re recruiting an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lewisham. This role is based in Key Stage 2 and is ideal for a skilled HLTA who enjoys supporting learning through targeted interventions, SATs preparation, and occasional class cover.
The Role – HLTA (KS2)
You will work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to deliver small group interventions, support pupils in preparation for SATs, and provide high-quality cover across KS2 when required. This is a varied and rewarding role that plays a key part in raising attainment and supporting pupil progress.
Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

Have proven experience working across Key Stage 2
*
Be confident delivering small group interventions
*
Have experience supporting SATs preparation
*
Be confident providing occasional class cover
*
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
*
Be committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils
