Our client is a well‑established, family‑focused independent financial advisory firm with a growing client base and ambitious expansion plans. They are now looking to recruit a fully qualified level 4 diploma professional who is looking to develop their career towards full Competent Adviser Status (CAS) within a supportive and collaborative environment.
This opportunity would suit an individual with a strong background in sales, banking, mortgages, customer service, or financial services who enjoys building relationships and delivering excellent client outcomes.
The Role
As a Trainee Financial Adviser, responsibilities will include:
* Building relationships with clients and gathering key financial information
* You will be given a book of roughly 45 clients once you have achieved CAS or after probation
* Conducting research and presenting suitable recommendations
* Reviewing risk assessments, portfolio performance and asset allocation
* Working closely with the wider team to deliver the best outcomes for clients
* Managing client interactions both face‑to‑face and via online meetings
* Operating in a hybrid working environment between home and office
Salary and Package
* Salary between £35,000‑£40,000
* Salary rises to £45,000 after probation and £50,000 after 12 months

What Our Client Is Looking For
* Level 4 diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
* Previous face‑to‑face sales or customer‑facing experience
* Experience within sales, banking, mortgages, customer service, or financial services
* Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
* Genuine interest in financial planning and helping clients achieve positive outcomes
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to complete DBS checks
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when required
