We are supporting an outstanding Children's Residential Provider in their search for a dedicated Level 3 Qualified Residential Care Worker / Senior in Bury. Join a rewarding team in delivering high-quality care with the following permanent opportunity:
* Location: Children’s Residential Home, Bury
* Experience Required: NVQ Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare or equivalent; minimum 6-12 months experience supporting young people in a children’s residential setting.
* Role Overview: Assist the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care for children aged 0-16 with complex backgrounds, challenging behaviour, and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD), using a systemic therapeutic approach. Responsibilities include implementing care plans, supervising staff, conducting risk assessments, monitoring policies, and ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards (e.g., data protection, human rights). Act as a key worker, addressing young people’s medical, practical, and emotional needs. Support team development, chair meetings on a rotational basis, and manage allocated budgets. Promote equality, maintain confidentiality, and prepare for audits/inspections. Note: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as the provider does not hold a sponsorship licence.
