Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation at all times. Ensure all food preparation tasks are carried out in line with health and safety regulations. Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and freshness of ingredients. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of dishes. Participate in the preparation of mise en place to facilitate smooth kitchen operations. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Requirements Previous experience or training in a similar kitchen role is an advantage but not essential. Passion for food and commitment to learning new culinary skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Understanding of basic hygiene and food safety practices. Flexibility to work casual shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks as required.
