Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (term-time only)
Both full-time and part-time positions available

The Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Working either 1:1 or in small groups, you’ll help create a stable and positive learning environment that encourages growth, engagement, and emotional resilience. You’ll be part of a committed team that values inclusion, structure, and student wellbeing.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
* Assisting in delivering tailored learning and behaviour support plans
* Helping students build self-esteem, social skills, and emotional regulation
* Creating a calm, encouraging environment that promotes engagement
* Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
* Contributing to the development and implementation of personalised support plans
Who We’re Looking For
* A compassionate, adaptable person with a passion for supporting vulnerable learners
* Experience in SEMH, SEN, care, or behavioural settings is highly valued
* Confident in managing behaviour calmly and constructively
* A team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Access to transport is useful but not essential
