Through our No One Left Behind funding from the Scottish Government, we have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive employability team as an employability key worker supporting Care Experienced young people and care leavers. In this role, you will provide holistic employability support to help care experienced young people into employment, Further/Higher Education, and training. You will facilitate access to training and a wide range of work experience opportunities to support independent living and emotional wellbeing.
We are looking for someone with experience working with care-experienced young people in a supportive capacity and an awareness of the challenges they face in the current labour market. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various partners.
Ideally, the candidate will also have knowledge of the current employability agenda and relevant policies related to care-experienced young people.
*Depending on the needs of the service, staff in hybrid roles will typically work from home up to 40-60% of the time, where the service requirements are met.
