Job Title – Behaviour Change Worker Reports to – Engage Expert Lead Contract type – Permanent, full time, 35 hours per week. Plus on call work on a rota basis to cover the 24hour helpline, on call hours are paid additionally to salary. Remuneration – £31,586 Annual Leave - 27 days plus bank holidays. After 2 years employment an additional day’s holiday is added in April of each year up to a maximum of 32 days. Probationary period – Probationary period 6 months Location - The role is based at My CWA Offices, Mill House, Brooks Street, Crewe, CW2 7DE. Travel - Travel is expected throughout Cheshire and the UK to support with any additional business needs. Willingness to travel is essential, driver with your own car desirable. Pension - 5% contribution into Peoples Pension scheme (after three months’ employment). The role of Behaviour Change Worker is pivotal to the delivery of our services and helping people impacted by domestic abuse. It’s a challenging and client facing role. You’ll need to be resilient and able to adapt and cope with change, No two days are ever the same. You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive MyCWA team and will work in a dynamic, fast paced environment helping to deliver our whole family, whole system Engage approach to tackling domestic abuse. Key responsibilities: Supporting adult perpetrators of domestic abuse to change unhealthy behaviours, emphasising the importance of personal accountability and the safety of victims and children Work with adult perpetrators on a 1-2-1 basis or as part of a group. Play a full role in the wider delivery of behaviour change programmes. These include Engage Plus programmes, Navigate (working with those on bail) to support increasing safety for victims and children. Manage a caseload of individuals with the aim of addressing perpetrator behaviours, prioritising family safety and assessing need. Important to note. · Role involves working outside core office hours, Monday-Saturday between the hours of 8am-8pm · Travel is possible throughout Cheshire and the UK to support with any additional business needs.
