The main purpose of this role is to support Partners service their existing clients through the provision of technical investment support. This role supports the Partnership, field management teams, and head office departments, taking care of investment technical related queries through phone and email. The role provides specialist support around articulating the SJP Investment Proposition as well as guidance on client specific investment performance, portfolio & fund positioning and overall financial planning focusing on client outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
* To provide investment technical support around client specific investment performance. This is based on understanding and articulating what the different charts, figures and features mean and how this can be positioned with a client.
* Articulate SJP fund and portfolio performance against benchmarks and markets, demonstrating the added value by investing via the Partnership.
* To provide investment technical and propositional and processing support to the SJP Partnership, PSS and wider business. This includes the investment product & service range – investment management approach, fund performance and investment business processing and servicing via phone and email platforms.
* Support the adoption of the SJP investment proposition through proactive Partner and wider business engagement.
Essential Criteria:
* Have a broad understanding of the SJP investment proposition.
* Have a strong understanding of investing and markets with the ability to discuss these clearly and succinctly.
* Understand the current fund/portfolio range and how these impact on the advice provided to the Partnership for their clients.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast paced technical query environment with a close attention to detail.
* Build strong investment technical and propositional knowledge, including a strong awareness of economic factors.
Special Requirements:
* Ability to work flexibly from home and the office.
* Travel may be required from time to time
