Job Title: GCSE Core Subject Tutor
Location: Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and structured lessons in GCSE Maths,English, and/or Science, focusing on essential concepts, exam preparation, and study techniques.
2. Develop and implement personalised lesson plans to address each student’s unique learning needs and academic targets.
3. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support students in strengthening their knowledge and building exam confidence.
4. Adapt teaching strategies to suit varied learning styles, including providing effective support for SEN students where needed.
5. Create a positive, encouraging and motivating learning environment that inspires students to excel.
Requirements:
6. Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in GCSE Maths, English, and/or Science.
7. Right to work in the UK.
8. Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired:
9. PGCE in Secondary Education and/or QTS status.
10. Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
