Position overview
As an Account Director at Mediahub, you will be responsible for client interaction, understanding their needs, developing tailored media strategies using Mediahub tools and planning processes (IGNITE), and ensuring flawless campaign execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client objectives, manage budgets, and maintain high client satisfaction with impactful media solutions.
This is a new role working across one of our international clients. The role is heavily planning-focused and includes client leadership. The client overview:
Hasbro
You will target kids through a dynamic, multi-channel strategy mainly for the UK but with support across other EMEA markets. Key campaigns include product awareness for brands like Play-Doh, Beyblade, Monopoly, using digital, TV, and cinema platforms to stay top-of-mind for kids.
The Work - Media Planning, Strategy & Execution
* Lead responses to briefs, campaign implementation, and reporting management.
* Utilize the IGNITE planning process for all client briefs; own your role within this process.
* Review all key documents and presentations before distribution.
* Evaluate media proposals and negotiate rates to ensure value and efficiency.
* Foster a challenging mindset within your team to deliver creative media plans.
* Work with senior team members to ensure Mediabrands Data, Tools, and Technology are applied on all plans.
Client Service
* Be the primary contact for daily client communication, nurturing relationships and ensuring high satisfaction.
* Present to clients virtually and in person, responding promptly to questions and concerns.
* Lead regular status calls, document actions, and follow up.
* Set an example for junior team members on client management.
* Build strong relationships with media partners, positioning Mediahub as a preferred agency partner.
Commercial
* Understand the commercial agreements and ensure plans have correct charges before approval.
* Identify opportunities to sell new services and increase revenue.
* Support the Business Director in reviewing commercial arrangements.
* Establish efficient processes to enhance output.
* Ensure team members understand and complete media booking and reconciliation accurately and on time.
* Coordinate with finance on invoicing and billing accuracy.
* Mentor and support team members’ career development.
* Contribute to agency culture and celebrate team successes.
* Support leadership in embodying Mediahub’s values daily.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Planning experience across channels including TV, Press, Digital, OOH.
* Experience planning in the UK and European markets (desired).
* Challenger mindset in work delivery and team management.
* Excellent client servicing skills.
* Agile approach and ability to adapt quickly to new opportunities.
* Experience managing a team and their workload.
