Registered Home Manager
Location: Woodthorpe, Nottingham (NG5)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
About The Service:
This quaint but modern home is a small, independent 25-bed nursing and residential home, part of a close-knit group of three homes in East Midlands. They provide general nursing, dementia care, and palliative/end-of-life support in a warm, person-centred environment.
⚕️ The Role of Registered Home Manager:
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our dedicated care team. This is a clinically focused role with strong emphasis on governance and quality care, not budget management.
Key Responsibilities for the Registered Home Manager role:
1. Oversee a team of 2 nurses and 24 carers
2. Lead rota planning and on-call coordination
3. Conduct staff supervision and appraisals
4. Manage pre-assessments and admissions
5. Collaborate with a supportive Area Manager
6. Oversee recruitment, induction, and training
7. Liaise with families and multidisciplinary teams
8. Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance
9. Maintain strong relationships with ICB and CQC
10. Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement

Who we are looking for:
16. NMC registered nurse
17. Experience of managing a dual registered residential and nursing home
18. Knowledge of clinical governance and auditing
19. Palliative care knowledge - GSF understanding
