Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Control Panel Builder, you will:
Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Ensure panels meet quality and safety standards
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimise designs
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the assembly process
Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Proven experience in electrical control panel assembly
Strong knowledge of electrical components and wiring
Ability to read and understand technical diagrams
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ level 3)
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Experience with PLCs and automation systems
Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, NEC)
Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Technologies:
Electrical wiring tools and equipment
Software for design and layout (e.g., AutoCAD)
Testing equipment for quality assurance
