Department: Front of House Location: Birmingham Compensation: £31,730 / year Description Receptionist – full time £31,730 Birmingham We have an exciting opportunity for an experience receptionist who is ready to move into a role with additional facilities management responsibilities. You will relish a challenge and be highly organised, working collaboratively to support the facilites management team to ensure the smooth running of the building. You will deliver an exemplary tenant service and visitor experience, to everyone who comes into the building, understanding the importance of leaving a lasting impression. You should be well presented with proven relevant experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role. Hours – 8.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday Salary - £31,730 Key Responsibilities Reception responsibilities Take ownership of the reception and ensure it always presents well Meeting and greeting all visitors to the building to ensure a warm welcome Become the friendly face and ‘go to person’ at the building Manage reception sign-in processes Managing deliveries - including couriers and post Develop your knowledge of the local area and maintain an amenities file with appropriate and useful information The Building Build and maintain effective realtionsips with tenants and contractors and the building management team Report issues and manage contractors to ensure maintenance jobs are managed to resolution, keeping the off site building manager informed General Administration as required, including management of building documentation, service records and reports Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders Concierge and communication Develop and implement concierge services, negotiating freebies/ offers with the local business community for the enjoyment of everyone working in th buidling Research and produce a monthly e-newsletter Prepare a weekly email for everyone working in the building updating them on building news Skills, Knowledge and Expertise You are an experienced corporate receptionist, ready to take on a role with additional responsibilities Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service.
