Project Engineer
Planet Pharma are currently partnered with a leading medical device company looking for a Project Engineer to join a global engineering team driving automation and process improvements. You’ll lead the integration of new equipment and support major upgrades to existing systems—ensuring safety, quality, cost-efficiency, and delivery targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead process development and new equipment integration
* Support validation activities (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ)
* Drive lean manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives
* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
* Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and regulatory standards
* Support production and continuous improvement efforts
Requirement:
* Degree or equivalent in Engineering
* Experience in automation/process engineering in regulated environments
* Strong problem-solving and project management skills
* Knowledge of equipment validation and process improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma)
* Proficiency with SAP, CAD, and MS Office
Desirable: Experience in medical devices, FMEA, and technology selection.
This is a hands-on role with a mix of shop floor and office work. Occasional travel (up to 20%) and flexible working hours may be required.
