Secondary School Teaching Assistant

Pay: £85 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Vision for Education are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Teaching Assistants in secondary schools across Bridlington and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals looking to build a career in education, offering valuable classroom experience and the opportunity to support young people in their learning.
About the Role
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in and out of the classroom. You may assist with whole-class learning, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help ensure students remain engaged and on track with their studies.
You will:
1. Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
2. Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
3. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
4. Help adapt learning materials to meet the needs of all learners
5. Provide support for students with additional needs where required
6. Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
13. Have a passion for working with young people
14. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
15. Be patient, adaptable, and supportive
16. Be able to work effectively as part of a team
17. Have (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
A degree or relevant experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work) is desirable but not essential.
