We have an exciting opportunity for experienced EAP Teaching Fellows to join the Skills Centre at the University of Bath for our new online pre-sessional English course. The online pre-sessional course prepares international students for progression to their chosen degree programme (MSc Marketing or Finance, January 2026 intake) through academic language and skills development. You will join a professional, friendly team of Teaching Fellows and Course Leaders teach postgraduate students who are well motivated to develop their English language and academic literacy skills conduct online tutorials, attend staff meetings and standardisation sessions (both in person and online), assess student progress, carry out other administrative duties related to teaching online, and undertake pastoral duties. A full in-person induction and comprehensive teaching materials will be provided, and you will work under the guidance of a Course Leader. Course Dates: 27 - 31 October 2025: Course induction for Teachers 3 November - 5 December 2025: Online Pre-sessional course (5 weeks) Contract dates: We have two opportunities: 10 week contract: 29 September – 5 December (the first 4 weeks will be working on materials development and supporting the planning for the online course). Please note this role will be 1.0 fte from 29 September - 26 October, and reduce to 0.5 fte from 27 October - 5 December. 6 week contract: 27 October - 5 December This role will be 0.5 fte for the length of contract. The dates include course planning and materials development, teacher induction days and time for assessment and reporting activity at the end of the course, which are paid and require full participation. A pro-rata holiday entitlement is also paid. Please specify on your application form your first and second preference of contract (10-week or 6-week). Please note that all teaching fellows will teach both English language and academic skills. Further information Please note that you must be available to attend induction and some meetings on campus in Bath, and you must be located within the UK for the duration of the online teaching contract.
