Team Building Activities throughout the year On Demand Pay Available Key Responsibilities Client Consultation & Sales Conduct tree risk assessments and prepare arborist reports, memos, and inventories. Estimate and propose tree services (removal, pruning, cabling, etc.). Design and sell customized plant health care programs. Maintain and grow relationships with commercial and municipal clients. Ensure proposals are executed to meet client expectations. Audit subcontracted work for compliance with specifications. Supervisory Leadership Supervise, mentor, and train Plant Health Care (PHC) staff. Create and manage daily PHC routes and treatment schedules. Lead quality control, field support, and customer satisfaction initiatives. Oversee production, inventory control, and product planning. Enforce safety programs and ensure environmental compliance. Maintain chemical usage and MSDS documentation; ensure certifications remain current. Technical & Operational Support Diagnose and treat pest, disease, and soil nutrient issues. Operate and maintain trimming and treatment equipment. Scout and document pest/disease activity. Recommend capital investments for efficiency and quality improvements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of regional plants and horticulture. Exceptional sales, customer service, and communication skills. Proficiency in research, reporting, and stakeholder presentations. Strong organizational, time management, and leadership abilities. Analytical problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or related field (Master’s preferred). 3–5 years in the plant care/tree care industry. 3–5 years of sales or customer service experience. 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience. ISA Arborist Certification (required or obtainable within one year). Delaware Pesticide Applicator License (required or obtainable within one year). Expertise in tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management, and industry-approved practices. Additional Information: The environmental factors and physical requirement of this position include the following Able to move freely throughout the Arbor Care facilities to include but not limited to: carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
