Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join the management team at our Volvo dealership in Leamington.
You will work Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week. Benefits include the use of a Volvo company car and an OTE of £75,000.
The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines.
Role And Responsibilities
* You will build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed our customer’s expectations; ensuring that our customers’ buying experience is industry leading. You will also be accountable for handling customer queries and complaints and ensuring they are resolved effectively.
* Support the sales team in daily operations including customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, professional vehicle preparation, and maintaining stock levels as per company guidelines.
* Drive the sales process and support the sales team in achieving monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to meet sales and profit forecasts.
* Complete all paperwork accurately and provide reports on sales activities to ensure accurate sales forecasts.
* Ensure the sales team accurately collects all customer contact and vehicle data to maximize the quality and content of the customer database, adhering to FCA obligations.
About You
* You may be an existing sales manager, sales controller, or retail manager seeking new challenges or better career opportunities.
* You will have the drive and talent to advance the department, working to achieve KPIs and brand standards.
* You must demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results and exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Strong management and leadership skills, a winning mentality, and a passion for the brand are essential.
* Motor trade, automotive, or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
