We’re on the lookout for an experienced Assistant Manager to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Wakefield Exchange, home to spectacular large-scale creative showcase spaces, complemented by independent food and drink retailers and creative business incubation, skills, and networking zones.
As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the building, events, exhibitions, and conferences within this fantastic venue. In the Assistant Manager (Bookings and Finance) role, your focus will be on managing external site bookings, acting as a key point of contact for booking organisations, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings. This includes effective coordination of the site to meet booking requirements, alongside income management.
You will carry out a wide range of duties—from routine day-to-day operations through to the delivery of medium and large-scale events, exhibitions, and conferences. You will also lead a top-class team.
This is an impactful role that will ensure the smooth operation of Wakefield Exchange.
