SSOW Planner – Rail | Glasgow | £300 per day (Inside IR35) 3-month rolling contract The Role An excellent contract opportunity in Glasgow has arisen for an experienced SSOW Planner, offering £300 per day on a 3-month rolling contract. You will play a key role in supporting rail projects by producing Safe System of Work packs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining the highest levels of safety on site. Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive SSOW packs to ensure the safety of personnel working on or near the railway. Conduct detailed risk assessments and identify potential hazards. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective planning. Ensure all work complies with rail safety regulations, standards, and legal requirements. Provide clear instructions to work teams and confirm understanding of safety measures. Review and update SSOW plans to reflect site changes, project progress, or regulatory updates. Support safety audits and contribute to incident investigations where required. Key Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in preparing SSOW packs. Valid SSOWP qualification. Current PTS. Availability to start within one week (preferred).
