Retail Store Assistant (with Keyholder Responsibility)
£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Hours: Sundays only, 6 hours
Location: Banstead

About Cancer Research UK: We exist to beat cancer. We are dedicated professionals with a purpose, working every day to make a difference. We are looking for a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team, acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and taking responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the shop operations on Sundays, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and supporting volunteers.
* Helping the team achieve sales and fundraising goals.
* Reviewing and processing donations and stock.
* Generating creative ideas to increase income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
* Providing excellent customer service to ensure supporters feel welcomed and valued.
* Maintaining shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
Candidate requirements:
* Knowledge of excellent customer service.
* Experience working in lively environments.
* Adaptability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commercial awareness.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, balancing work and personal life.
