Student Funding Assistant

With 19 campuses and centres across the North and West Highlands, Skye, and Outer Hebrides, we cover a geographic area larger than Wales, comprising 40% of Scotland’s coastline. Our campuses and centres are located within historic towns and villages, set amongst the shorelines, mountains, and moors, with local staff working across our region to support our students and communities.
Position: We are seeking a Student Funding Assistant, based at Fort William, Stornoway, or Thurso Campus; consideration would be given to other centres.
Responsibilities: Working as part of a geographically dispersed team, the post holder will provide advisory and administrative support to students regarding funding sources, ensuring high-quality, accurate, confidential, and timely service. Responsibilities include managing student funding processes, maintaining records for audit and accountability, and performing administrative tasks within the Student Services Team.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: Candidates should hold a relevant qualification at minimum SCQF Level 6, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, and have experience working in a team. Gaelic language ability would be advantageous.
