About the Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll be ensuring the level of clinical care we provide goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. You will provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervise and coach colleagues to deliver a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
About You
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC Code of Practice. A background in person‑centred care planning within a care home is essential. You should also possess a positive, energetic attitude, excellent mentoring and time‑management skills, and the ability to keep clear records. Your communication should always be considerate and kind, and you value kindness above all.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend appropriate safeguarding training, seek advice and report concerns, and, if necessary, escalated the issue.
