Day in the life of:
As the Groups Reservation Executive, you will be responsible for handling written and verbal enquiries from customers who want to make group reservations of 9 rooms or more. You will be required to understand the hotel's strategy and support in delivering the rooms revenue monthly budget. You will also be required to mature new opportunities with the support of the Group, Conference and Events Office Manager.
Example key responsibilities:
* Responsibility for ensuring all Groups (9+ bedrooms), are correctly input into the system, contracted and payment and cancellation terms fully adhered to. Implementing and following a robust enquiry handling and follow up process.
* The champion of the DoubleTree band and have in depth knowledge of the Hilton Honors program.
* Maximising revenue by enquiry conversion.
* Fostering a strong working relationship with the Revenue Management support team
* Involvement with annual budgets and attending hotel team and internal meetings on behalf of the Sales Office, including monthly Commercial Meetings
* Participation in relevant Sales activity which can include supporting on client entertaining, FAM trips and both prospecting and conversion calling days
* Cultivate excellent working relations between your function and all other hotel supporting departments
