Overview
Job Title: Practice Manager.
Location: Llanelli.
Employment Type: Part time, Permanent Contract.
Shift pattern: 40 hours per week ≤ days only. Rota: Monday 09:00‑20:00, Tuesday 09:00‑18:00, Friday 09:00‑20:00, Saturday 09:00‑20:00.
Closing Date: 3 July 2026.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and achieve high levels of patient safety.
* Take direct responsibility for the support and development of all direct reports and locums, maintaining high standards of professional customer service and compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
* Work with in‑store, regional and home office teams to provide clinical or service support when required.
* Balance the role of line manager and pharmacist to deliver a safe working environment, inspire and motivate the team to deliver within defined KRAs, and solve difficult situations while maintaining solid connections with store and field teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
* Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.
* Experience managing pharmacy staff and delivering results within defined KRAs.
* Valid GPhC registration, evidence of right to work in the UK, safeguarding qualifications, DBS check and enrollment in the live update service.
* Demonstrate qualifications and identity through appropriate documentation as required.
