Job Description S&W's International PCTS Team We are recruiting for senior manager candidates to join our highly skilled and experienced industry leading international private client team who will work specifically to provide pragmatic, commercial tax advice tailored to high net worth and ultra-high net worth complex families. Our team accesses non-UK advice working with our partners in the Global CLA network, where we have offices and teams across the world. S&W's international PCTS team advises high net worth and ultra-high net worth UK based individuals and families with international structures, interests, assets and roles; internationally mobile individuals and families with UK and offshore structures, interests, assets and roles; offshore trustees, fiduciaries and directors where they have UK resident or long-term resident beneficiaries, clients and shareholders with both UK and non-UK assets, or offshore beneficiaries, clients and shareholders where there are UK assets and interests; and international individuals and families either looking to move to the UK or looking to invest in or own assets or other interests in the UK, or to manage their residency positions. Purpose of Role: To manage your own portfolio of clients, working with Directors/Partners or alone on complex consultancy and advisory projects with a primary focus on the International Private Client Tax market. The role will also entail managing the compliance for the complex clients in your portfolio and helping to grow and manage the wider team. There will be scope to undertake business development of existing and new clients as well as further developing your own International technical and sector knowledge and expertise whilst also having the opportunity to develop new areas of interest. S&W have offices around the UK and we are open to flexible working arrangements. Key responsibilities: Client work Manage portfolio of complex advisory cases Manage portfolio of complex compliance cases Give exceptional client service Technically strong across a breadth of international private client tax issues Identifying opportunities within the client portfolio and utilising wider networks to generate new client opportunities Staff management and development Liaison with Partners Appraisals/monitor staff performance On the job training for junior staff on a one-to-one basis Dealing with staff questions Practice Development Involved in business development activities/profile raising locally Able to take advantage of marketing/PR opportunities Compliance Ensuring procedures are followed taking account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant Personal Development (Technical & Other) Internal and external seminars and courses
