Role and Responsibilities
* Driving a modern fleet of 26 tonne vehicles
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip
* Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
* Maintain accurate records of driving hours and Work Time Directive (WTD) compliance
* Little if any handball on the role
* Promptly report any incidents or accidents to the client
* Flexible shift patterns and start times
* Trailer swaps, delivery and collection of goods
* Provide exceptional customer service
Your Qualifications
* Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence
* Possess a current CPC and Tacho Card.
* Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence with no DR or DD offences
* Experience in driving temperature controlled vehicles preferred but not essential.
Working Hours and Pay
* Monday to Friday
* Flexiable start times and shift patterns
* Rates from £14.50 to £22 ph
* Breaks are paid
* Holiday pay on top of the hourly rate
